The 'Alpenresort Walsertal' wellness hotel is your home away from home whilst on tour and makes returning from your days’ outings also something to look forward to.

The hotel is surrounded by walking trails, meadows and working dairy farms. As you come and go, you’ll pass friendly cows munching away on the grass, and it’s just a short stroll to Faschina’s own quaint little chapel.

The hotel has been owned and continually operated by the Sperger family since 1932. It is now under the care of Frank & Hildegard Sperger and their son Fabio, who are there to ensure your stay is a memorable one.

Meals In-House

After an active day, you’ll enjoy sitting down to a delicious 4-course meal prepared by the hotel’s award-winning chef and his team.

You will be treated to the finest cuisine, with a varied menu that features both regional specialties and international dishes. Great importance is placed on using fresh, homegrown ingredients such as the fresh mountain trout from the hotel’s own fishponds.

Our guests rave about the daily breakfast buffet which features homemade jams, as well as alpine butter and mountain cheeses sourced from the surrounding family-run farms.

There is an extensive wine cellar featuring wines from the growing areas of Austria. Frank and Hildegard are passionate about showcasing their local drops and making recommendations to delight their guests.

At the end of your day there are plenty of ways to relax, unwind and give yourself some extra nurturing. The hotel offers a stunning wellness centre with views to and over the mountains.
