Inclusions

4-star accommodation in an alpine wellness hotel
Full buffet breakfast daily

Not Included in Tour Price and Service

Airfares to and from Europe
Travel to (and from) tour start (and end) point - Feldkirch, Vorarlberg
Personal travel insurance

Coffee and beverages in the hotel
Optional activities (eg. Opera-on-the-Lake, river rafting, massages)
Spending money

Payment Terms

To confirm your booking and reserve a place on tour, a deposit of $500 is required. The tour deposit is non-refundable.

Balance payments for all Summer tours (ie. those from June through to September) are due by 28 February of the same year.

Balance payments for all Winter tours (ie. those in February) are due by 30 September of the previous year.

Currency

All prices are in Australian dollars ($AUD).

Cancellations and Refunds

All tours, travel arrangements and accommodations are secure from the time of confirmation of booking. Consequently, a fee will apply on all cancellations. Cancellations up to 28 February will lose their deposit of $500.

Cancellations thereafter incur the following fees:

between 1 March - 31 March: 50% of tour cost
from 1 April: 100% of tour cost

If a guest fails to join a tour, joins after its departure or leaves prior to its completion no refund will be made for unused services.

In the unlikely event that we need to cancel your tour, you will be entitled to a 100% refund within two weeks of the date the tour was cancelled.

Changes to Itinerary

Proposed itineraries and programs are subject to change, and often do change or vary. Foreseeable factors include weather, the fitness levels of the group, local events that happen to be on, particular interests of the group, roadworks etc. We reserve the right to make changes to itineraries at any time should it become necessary or desirable.

We are not obliged to pay guests compensation for delays or itinerary changes caused by strikes, bad weather, traffic, or other unforeseen circumstances that are beyond our control.

Travel Insurance

Comprehensive travel insurance is compulsory for all tour guests. Please ensure your travel insurance policy covers you for unforeseen cancellations.

Medical Clearance

It is important for all guests to be physically and mentally fit to participate safely in their desired tour.

All tour guests are required to provide medical clearance from their GP (General Practitioner) before departing for Europe. Austrian Alps Active will provide the 'Medical Clearance Form' to be used once a booking has been received.

It is then the responsibility of each tour guest to notify Austrian Alps Active (AAA) immediately should there be any change to their condition either before or during the tour.

Luggage

Each tour guest is allowed one suitcase and one carry-on bag/ small suitcase. If this limit is exceeded there may not be space in the vehicle to transport excess luggage and it will be at the guests' own expense to have it transported.

It is essential that every tour guest has a day pack on tour - for carrying water, snacks, hats, sunscreen, rain gear, etc.

Limit of Liability

No responsibility is accepted for any loss, expense, accident, injury, or damage to any person or property due to the actions or omissions of any person, or any cause, including but not limited to acts of God, acts of terrorism, war, strikes, defects in machinery, breakdown of equipment, weather, quarantine, negligence, loss of baggage, or other causes beyond our control, such losses being the responsibility of the guest.

Right of Rejection

AAA reserves the right to accept, reject, or not retain any person as a tour guest whose condition or general deportment impedes the operation of the tour or, in the opinion of the tour host, affects the rights and enjoyment of other tour guests. A guest not retained on tour shall have no cause for complaint or refund, and shall bear any and all extra expenses that ensue.

Privacy of Your Personal Information

AAA is compliant with the Privacy Act in handling personal information. AAA holds information to administer its services and uses and discloses it only where required in order to provide their services offered. This site and the materials and products on this site are provided "as is" and without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the fullest extent permissible pursuant to applicable parties AAA disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. AAA does not represent or warrant that the functions contained in the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, that the defects will be corrected, or that this site or the server that makes the site available are free of viruses or other harmful components. AAA does not make any warrantees or representations regarding the use of the materials in this site in terms of their correctness, accuracy, adequacy, usefulness, timeliness, reliability or otherwise. Some states do not permit limitations or exclusions on warranties, so the above limitations may not apply to you.

Limitation of Liability

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold us, our officers, directors, employees, agents, contractors, licensors and suppliers harmless from and against all losses, expenses, claims, proceedings, damages and costs (including actual, special, direct, indirect, incidental, exemplary or consequential) of every kind and nature made by any other party due to or arising out of any violation of these Terms, any terms and policies it incorporates by reference, the rights of another party, any applicable law, statute, ordinance or regulation or due to or arising out of any activity related to goods and services supplied by us.

Typographical Errors

In the event that an AAA product is mistakenly listed at an incorrect price, AAA reserves the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price. AAA reserves the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is cancelled, AAA shall issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price.

Termination

These terms and conditions are applicable to you upon your accessing the site and/or completing the registration or shopping process. These terms and conditions, or any part of them, may be terminated by AAA without notice at any time, for any reason. The provisions relating to Copyrights, Trademark, Disclaimer, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification and Miscellaneous, shall survive any termination.

Miscellaneous

Your use of this site shall be governed in all respects by the laws of the state of Victoria, Australia. You agree that jurisdiction over and venue in any legal proceeding directly or indirectly arising out of or relating to this site (including but not limited to the purchase of AAA products) shall be in the state or federal courts located in Victoria Australia. Any cause of action or claim you may have with respect to the site (including but not limited to the purchase of AAA products) must be commenced within one (1) year after the claim or cause of action arises. AAA's failure to insist upon or enforce strict performance of any provision of these terms and conditions shall not be construed as a waiver of any provision or right. Neither the course of conduct between the parties nor trade practice shall act to modify any of these terms and conditions. AAA may assign its rights and duties under this Agreement to any party at any time without notice to you.

Use of Site

Harassment in any manner or form on the site, including via e-mail, chat, or by use of obscene or abusive language, is strictly forbidden. Impersonation of others, including a AAA or other licensed employee, host, or representative, as well as other members or visitors on the site is prohibited.
